Training Groups Update

We have tried a couple of things with the groups over the last few months including having volunteer pacers and guidance for pacing each session. Thank you for your patience and especially if you have volunteered. 

Going forward, to simplify things we are going to ask that you select a group based on your target 5k pace rather than suggested paces for each session. Larger groups can set off together and then naturally split into sub groups. 

We will still have pacers and session leaders where possible but the idea will be to run with a group all looking to achieve the same race pace. The group pace suggestion below is a target for the group rather than comfortable 5k pace so don’t be alarmed if they seem quick! 

Run in a group that suits you for the session. If you do want to move down a group that is OK, especially if you have raced or been recently injured, but please respect the pace of whichever group you are in.
