Outstanding Contribution to Heaton Harriers – Allen Mullis

At last nights AGM Allen Mulliss was awarded the George Routledge trophy for outstanding contribution to Heaton Harriers. This is only the third time this recognition has been awarded in the club. Allen has been our Membership Secretary for many years. He has been our resident expert with England Athletics throughout this time navigating the many hurdles that arise behind the scenes and ensuring we are all fully compliant with England Athletics. His contribution has been vital for the every day running of Heaton Hearriers.

In recent years he is known to many in the wider running community as Mr Parkrun notching up 620 parkuns to date with over 450 on the Town Moor. This puts Allen in the top 0.001% of parkrunners in the world. Well done and thank you for your outstanding contribution to our club Allen.
