A massive well done to everyone who took part in this year’s Heaton Harriers Memorial races and a huge thank you to all the volunteers. The event was very close to a selling out which is a testament to the reputation of our run. The conditions on the Town Moor yesterday were perfect with lots of sunshine and no wind which helped to produce some fantastic times and results across all races.
Congratulations to Chris Coulson of Houghton Harriers who finished in 1st place overall in the seniors 10K race with a winning time of 31.04. A massive well done also to the 1st place female finisher Sophie Pickett of Elswick Harriers with a time of 34.58.
