Well done to everyone who took part in this years Anita Nott race and a huge thank you to all the Heaton Harrier volunteers that made this event happen, especially Jacqueline Turner who organised the event for the first time.
Congratulations to Shona Haston of Gateshead Harriers who took home 1st place overall in a fantastic time of 18:05.
First Heaton Harrier home for the club and in 6th place overall was Jo Woodcock in a time of 19:11.
The weather on the evening of the race was made for near-perfect conditions which helped with the fast times seen overall.
Special thanks to Urban Green and the team at Millfield House for helping us organise the race and using their facilities. Thanks also to George Routledge for Race Directing on the night, Paramjeet as Head Marshal and making sure the marshals were in the right places, and to George, Dave Brignall and Chris George for setting up the course.
