About The Session

On the track alongside the Gosforth Nature Reserve (see above map) run 400m efforts for 30 minutes with 1:30 – 2:00 minute rest between efforts. Note, there’s a hill on the outward stretch so the effort back will be more leg speed than vo2 max.

Note: Please park in the public car park next to the Nuffield Gym at Balliol so you don’t obstruct the route at the Gosforth Nature Reserve. We will do announcements at the usual place at Balliol then run up to the Gosforth Nature Reserve as a group crossing at the pedestrian crossing at the top of the Balliol loop.
