London Marathon 2023 Results

Rain, cool conditions and a gentle breeze made for ideal marathon running weather at this year’s London Marathon. Heaton Harriers had 16 runners associated with the club running the famous race on Sunday. This was the first London Marathon back to the traditional April start since 2019 and it did not disappoint.

The rain did not put off the tens of thousands of supporters lining the streets of London and we had some great marathon runs, marathon debuts and several PBs to come home with. The consolidated Heaton Harrier results below are just the final part of what has been a very impressive effort from our members training over the winter months. We really should highlight all of the hard work and dedication that everyone has put into their training and also how our members have supported each other throughout this training block and ran many of the long training runs together.

Special mention should also go to the support on the course from other Heaton Harriers who made the trip to the capital. Your shout-outs certainly helped along the way.
