Heaton Juniors were leading the way representing the club at Cross Country events this last weekend.
Our U15 girls team of Emily Daglish, Olivia Daglish and Freya McKinnon were 8th team in a mixed race of U15, U17 & U20 girls at the Birtley XC Relays on Sunday. Emily produced the quickest time of the day of 14:07.
Alex Smith was part of the North Eastern Counties team at the National Inter-Counties Championships in Nottingham on Saturday. Alex was 66th overall and 2nd counter for the North Eastern Counties U15 team who were 16th team out of 44 regions. Alex’s next race is the English Schools National Team Championships in West Sussex next Saturday where he will be part of the Northumberland Schools U16 team.
