About The Session
Starting at the Newton Park Pub on Benton Road this is a 4k time trial to gauge your speed and performance. There will be a time keeper who will give you a time as you finish. The route starts at the Newton Park Pub, run north up Benton Road. Turn left onto Swarland Avenue before Tescos garage and take the first right at Benton Lodge Avenue. Run to the end of the street and turn left onto Benton Park Road. Run along this road passing the entrance to HMRC on your left and the Shell garage and Lidl on your right until you reach the South Gosforth double roundabouts. Turn left up Freeman Road and take the second left onto Lilburn Gardens. Run to the end of the street where you will join the waggonway. Turn right onto the waggonway and run to the end until you reach the finish at Newton Park pub.
