2025/26 Members Harrier of the Year
Members Harrier of the Year |
Jacqui Turner |
Jacqui was voted Members Harrier of the Year by members. Here are some of the quotes people left for her:
Very Friendly, committed and very welcoming to new members.
Jacqui organises our club races which requires a lot of unrecognised effort and time which brings a large amount of income into the club.
Jacqui is extremely thoughtful and is extremely aware of the members in the club. She reaches out when members are injured or haven’t been at training for a while. She sends lovely, encouraging messages before big races. She makes me feel like a really valued member. She is absolutely top class.
Jacqui does so much work behind the scenes, organising races. She is welcoming to new members and checks in with runners having time out from running.
Always supportive, firm but fair checks in on people she hasn’t seen for a while, generally great fun. Doesn’t concern herself with gossip she deals with running stuff in a running club celebrates success as well as those coming back from injury.
Enthusiasm and commitment. Always encouraging.Â
Ever present that’s happening within the club.Â
She puts in so much work around races eg the memorial race even though she may not have the time to do it.
Because Jacqui is always on hand to help people and makes people feel very welcome. She goes out her way to the club a happier place. Not to mention all the time she gives up to ensure the club have 2 successful races each year.Â
