Open to all club members with no registration required. The club grand prix is a season long event where you accumulate points on placing and participation against other Heaton Harrier members. The club actively encourage you to running these events and will accumulate your points total over the course of the season.
The top 3 male and female points scorers across the season will receive a prize.

- 1st Place – 12 points
- 2nd Place – 9 points
- 3rd Place – 7 points
- 4th Place – 5 points
- 5th Place – 4 points

- All Participants – 1 point
Rules & Information
- There is a separate grand prix for men and women with the Top 3 in each getting a prize at the end of the season.
- Handicap points are awarded to first home, not the fastest finisher. This includes HH Handicaps, Blyth Sands and NEHL fixtures excluding the Sherman Cup. The fastest 3 finishers in the handicaps (men and women) will receive an 2 extra points each.
- Runners can run as many events as they wish. Points will be awarded to each event they do.
- All runners must run under their own name to be awarded grand prix points.
- Only runners who have registered ‘Heaton Harriers’ as their club for races will awarded points with the exception of internal competitions like the handicap or inter club XC.
