Heaton Harriers took both main team prizes home at this years Gosforth Relays hosted by Gosforth Harriers at Great Park.
Heaton won 1st overall team (Ruari Macneil, Jacob Garthwaite and Eddie Knight) 1st women’s team (Lauren-Leigh Richardson, Ellie Reed and Jo Woodcock), 2nd senior women’s team (Holly Matheson, Eleanor Walker and Sophie Pennett) and 3rd men’s vet team (John Sturman, Jason Wall and David Bullock).
Heaton also had the fastest runner on the day (Jacob Garthwaite) and joint fastest female on the day (Jo Woodcock) and second fastest female on the day (Lauren-Leigh Richardson) as well as fastest vet runner (James McKenzie) and fastest V60 female (Baljit Watson)
